Built in the 1930’s, this Pioneer Square ex-timber masonry, the Mottman Building, began its main lobby remodel in 2017. The Mottman stands 5 stories tall, and the owners wanted the remodel to include entirely new stairs, lighting, and flooring.

Grayscale Design Studio ripped out the stairs, and hung blackened steel paneling, a space for art to hang, at the entrance. Flooring and lighting were replaced, and the refresh of the Mottman was complete mid-January.
